The National Team of Georgia will arrive at the Olympics with Small Planet Airlines

Wednesday, July 18, 2012The National Olympic Team of Georgia, the members of its Olympic Committee and the country’s ministry officials will reach the London Olympic Games with Small Planet Airlines. On the 25th of July the charter airline will carry the Georgian athletes and executive officials from Tbilisi to the capital of the United Kingdom hosting this year’s Olympic Games from the 27th of July to the 12th of August.
The Georgian Olympic team includes the gold, silver and bronze medallists of the European and the World Championships in judo, weightlifting, gymnastics and archery. It is not the first time when Small Planet Airlines is to operate a charter flight from the Georgian capital Tbilisi. Last year during the European Basketball Championship hosted by Lithuania the company operated six flights carrying not only the Georgian athletes but also the country’s team supporters and government representatives.
Small Planet Airlines has already carried the Polish, Ukrainian and Lithuanian national football teams, the representatives of Inter Milan, the fans of the Lithuanian basketball team, the employees of Audi, Coca-Cola and Disney. The carrier has proudly served one of the most famous conductors in the world – Zubin Mehta – with his widely renowned orchestra as well as the orchestras from France, Hungary and Germany.
