America’s Watchdog celebrates Fifth Anniversary as Daily
By Judi McLeod Friday, May 15, 2009
Today marks the Fifth Anniversary of Canada Free Press as a daily. Although CFP had been on the Internet for 12 years, it was “going daily” back in 2004 that put us over the top.
From the beginning, our stories were picked up by major sites, including the mighty Drudge Report, but we would never have gone so far, so quickly without the popular NewsMax.com.
Since 2004, this independent news site has recorded a whopping 700 percent increase in traffic, which includes a 500 percent increase in “unique visitors”.
Still growing like the proverbial Topsy, we have seen a 150 percent increase in traffic since 2008, and in the same time period, a 125 percent increase in unique visitors.
During the last two months of the November 4 presidential election campaign, CFP was receiving some 10,000 letters a day, a factor reflected in the 150 percent traffic increase!
CFP has also made leaps and bounds in Alexa, surpassing some of the biggest names on the Internet, and we will publish those gains over the next few days.
The question that keeps recurring in readership: “Why does Canada Free Press, a Canadian outlet, devote so much of its time to America?”
The answer is simple: There would be no Land of the Maple Leaf without the United States of America. The Free World depends on America. Without her, there would be no Free World.
Had anyone told us when we struck out as a daily back in 2004 that someday in the future an American president would message on apologizing for America, we never would have believed it, even though in those days we were writing about Maurice Strong and George Soros, the two ultra global elitists we think are most responsible for the challenge to America’s sovereignty.
In 2006, Strong and Soros teamed up in an ill-fated venture in the Communist China automaker that produced the “Chery”. Strong and Soros hoped to decimate Ford, Chrysler and GM by flooding the U.S. market with cheapo Cherys—on a deadline of 2007.
Yesterday’s news proclaimed that a beleaguered, government-run GM will import Chinese cars, “ The trickle in 2011 will turn into a flood in 2014”. (USA Today).
What, some may ask, has this to do with an anti-American president in the Oval Office. CFP believes that BHO is their protege.
CFP was a proud participant in April’s TEA parties and is proud to be cited on Restore Our Constitution in Decatur Illinois through the wonderful couple who run it. We are blessed through our association with Doug Hagmann’s Northeast Intelligence Network and with John Barnhart’s American Daily Review.
CFP’s ongoing success story belongs to so many. It belongs to the brilliant “IT guy” Brian Thompson, to the 100-plus columnists—far too many to name here—and most of all to its loyal readership.
Today the Fifth Anniversary message of Canada Free Press is this: God Bless America, God Bless the Free World.
America is rising and in spite of the attack on the nation the entire Free World looks to for its very existence, freedom still reigns!
