Ibero-American Secretary hopes Uribe, Chávez will engage in a dialogue

The rulers are likely to meet next November 26 in the Amazon Summit in the Brazilian city of Manaus intended to adopt joint positions ahead of the Climate Conference to be held in Copenhagen.

Ibero-American General Secretary Enrique Iglesias on Wednesday showed confidence that the Presidents of Colombia and Venezuela, Álvaro Uribe and Hugo Chávez, respectively, will sit and talk to solve their differences. He hopes that the Ibero-American Summit can contribute to reach this goal… more
