Mexican author: Uribe-Chávez conflict helps them to strengthen popular support

Mexican writer Jorge Volpi said on Monday that the “level of confrontation” between Colombia and Venezuela “helps” Álvaro Uribe and Hugo Chávez “in the domestic front” since it helps them to consolidate their popular support.
