Teaching English to Colombian Police

Professors Dr. Keith and Lisa Terry went to Colombia this past summer to teach English to members of the national police force. Some of them have followed the Terrys back to UNK.
Hidden in Colombia’s lush landscape lies murder, kidnapping and illegal drug trade. The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia, FARC, kidnaps civilians and holds them for ransom or as political bargaining chips. The U.S. Department of State has even issued a travel warning… more
