Noriega dimisses laundering charges at Paris trial
By Admin Tuesday, June 29, 2010PARIS — Panama’s ex-dictator Manuel Noriega on Tuesday dismissed money-laundering charges against him as an “imaginary banking scheme”, on the second day of his trial in France.
“I say with much humility and respect that this is an imaginary banking scheme,” Noriega told the court in Spanish through his interpreter.
