Carrión, quien protestó durante misa papal en Cuba, cuenta su historia
By JUAN CARLOS CHAVEZ
Hindus urge Vatican to wake-up & respect Catholics’ viewpoint of womenBy From Our Correspondent
Hindus have urged Vatican to wake-up to the feelings of its congregations and reconsider favorably the ordination of women priests in Roman Catholic Church.
A recent research study on “Contemporary Catholic Perspectives” commissioned by the Association of Catholic Priests in Ireland to “gain an understanding of Catholic’s views on contemporary Catholicism”, found out that “over 7 in 10 (72%) favour women being ordained into the Catholic Church as priests.”

Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, Rabbi ElizaBeth W. Beyer and Reverend Jikai’ Phil Bryan; prominent Hindu, Jewish and Buddhist leaders respectively in Nevada (USA); issued a joint statement in Nevada today, saying that it is morally wrong to force families out of the homes that they have lived in for years. These affected Roma families were reportedly being moved to segregated metal container settlements outside city of Belgrade, which likely do not meet international housing standards.

Those lucky enough to still be here to look back at history post Barack Obama will recognize the last sight-piggyback funeral dirge of the once noble Space Shuttle as the Obama Regime’s defining moment.
Canada’s Macular Degeneration Treatment ControversyBy Alan Caruba
Having known friends experiencing macular degeneration (AMD), a medical condition that can lead to blindness, my attention was caught by news of a growing trans-Atlantic controversy regarding an off-label use of the cancer drug Avastin, which has not received formal approval as an AMD treatment in Canada, the European Union, England, and the United States.
FL Technics Spare Parts: Why it is essential for airlines to cooperate with the independent supplierBy Anton Tisov
FL Technics Spare Parts: Why it is essential for airlines to cooperate with the independent suppliers who maintain their own spare parts stocks
According to the industry experts, airlines worldwide will spend approx. $49-51 billion on the aircraft maintenance this year. Due to their unpredictable nature, the AOG-related expenses will naturally play a significant part in the overall MRO costs.

Two decades ago the global aircraft fleet was enlarged by around 700 new aircraft per year. The number of no longer exploited aircraft constituted only about 50 at the time. Ten years ago this ratio was 1150/300. However, nowadays approx. 400 aircraft retire every year, although the number of deliveries remains almost the same as a decade ago. Locatory.com experts point out that since 2009 an average aircraft age in the world decreased from 12.9 to 11.9 years.
U.S. has Largest Energy Reserves on EarthBy Alan Caruba
On April 18th I received an email from the Sierra Club announcing that “We’re endorsing President Obama for reelection. We’ve made too much progress over the past four years to give it all back to Big Polluters.”
Pastors who would tear the wings off Cardinal Dolan’s messageBy Judi McLeod
Nudging President Barack Obama out of the sanctuary of the Roman Catholic Church, is going to need helping hands of both the celestial and earth bound.
St. Michael and the Archangels must be rooting for Cardinal Timothy Dolan, archbishop of New York, but are foot soldiers on Mother Earth being tossed aside by the rank and file ostensibly on Cardinal Dolan’s side?

The issue of pilots’ age remains to be a topical discussion in aviationBy Anton Tisov
In February 2012 the LOT London-Warsaw flight was grounded due to the ‘over 60’ pilots who should have operated the aircraft. Though the ICAO regulations state that pilots are allowed to operate an aircraft up till the age 65, still the global aviation society doesn’t have a unanimous approach to the issue.
The United Nation’s Useless Genocide TrialsBy Daniel Greenfield
Last year I completed a pamphlet on 10 Reasons to Abolish the UN for the Freedom Center, which you can find at its online bookstore that explores the reasons why the United Nations is a threat to the United States and to freedom around the world. You can learn more about the pamphlet from this video and this excerpt below that discusses the failures of the UN not only at preventing genocide, but at trying those responsible.
